About Us
Firstly, we love weddings! We're quite happy to make almost
anything but if we can't we will tell you. Too busy to 'trawl' the net
then let us do it for you - that is if the right thing isn't here.
The Meaning of Favours
Each wedding favour symbolises the bride's acknowledgement of
each friend and relative and are a beautiful thank you and keepsake.
Originally, five sugared almonds wrapped in lace or net were given to
symbolise health, wealth, happiness, long life and fertility. This
custom dates back to early European history but today, couples like
to 'think outside the box'.
What a Difference a Favour Makes
Most people would agree - it finishes your beautifully laid table and
adds a personal touch for your guests. It can also double up as a
place name card (see Place Name Cards). Favours can also be used
for christenings, baptisms, birthdays, bar and bat mitzvahs or any
type of celebration. The personal touch is always noticed!
